Today, March 25th, is the Feast of the Annunciation. Whenever this Feast falls on a Sunday, the Sunday takes precedence. As a result, this feast day is often “forgotten” in the Church calendar. However, it is most appropriate that on this day, we contemplate and celebrate the faithfulness and obedience of the maiden chosen by God to bear His Son. May we, like her, simply respond to His call by assenting to His desires for us, despite all that that response may bring our way.
Please do join us at 1:00 or 7:00 this day for our study of Phillip Keller’s A Shepherd Looks at the Good Shepherd. Following each of those presentations, Eucharist will be celebrated in Tolman House in recognition of this Feast Day.
